The Authority: Cumberland County Project

Our firm is very proud to help The Authority of Cumberland County, NJ (the “Authority”) close on the sale of one of its assets in Vineland this week. This sale consisted of a warehouse facility being sold to an affiliate of Columbia Care, Inc. – one of the leading cannabis distributors in America.

The City of Vineland has recently updated its zoning regulations to provide for certain cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, distribution and delivery in certain parts of the City. The subject warehouse which is located in such a district will be used by the purchaser to process and manufacture cannabis for medical and adult use.

Recently Cresco Labs acquired Columbia Care in a multibillion transaction and together, they will become one of the leaders for cannabis in America.

The sale of the warehouse for over $9 Million continues to demonstrate the Authority’s leadership in innovative development and real estate management. The Authority has put Cumberland County on the map for their creative and forward-thinking solutions for economic development.
